DIY: How to arrange your messy stationery into your drawer

A Perfectly Sorted Drawer

After the completion of fellowship I had a huge messy collection of stationery I brought back with me. I had scissors, colors, glues, pencils, brushes, and what not!! Since I joined Karkhana a month after the end of fellowship I didn't have a chance to sort the mess out.

The Mess

But this Dashain I decided to turn my maker-instinct ON and used some of my very handy tools to get my self a nicely sorted drawer to store my stuffs.

















At first I roughly sorted my items. I decided upon the number and sizes of compartments I needed according to the category. i.e. sketchpens, brushes, pencils, scissors, tapes, erasers, etc.

Cardboards

Then using paper-cutter I cut cardboard pieces and using hot glue gun I made compartments on my bed drawer.

At the end I put everything in their designated place. Now the room is cleaner. And my mother can find anything at a glance.
